I bought these underwear for my 5 year old son who is now a size 5 jean. The small size fit him perfectly but wasn't too tight like some underwear can be. He weighs 40 pounds and has a tall, lean build. What I love most about this lingerie is the visible softness of the waistband and material. The underwear I've bought in department stores in the past tends to be almost chunky around the waist by comparison.
