This is chalk finger paint rather than stain or glaze unless you are referring to ceramic glaze prior to firing. After watching a video after purchase I have no doubt that you can make all sorts of cool stuff by mixing it with other chemicals and epoxy for finishing, but if you just take stuff in a bottle and straight apply to something and expect it to be done (as I understood from the description because I saw no mention of relatively extensive processes) you have a chalky mess that looks like your 5 year old went to town and forgot to clean up. The good thing is that this stuff doesn't actually freeze. myself. It just dries up. So if you find you don't need it, you can wash it off with water and it's gone. This will likely leave a very faint stain, but if you're going to be painting over it anyway, who cares? And if you choose an alcohol or oil based stain, it will hide whatever shade it's been given anyway. to the "I met Tammy Faye at the mall" t-shirt. This is one star because the product itself is not what it claims to be. If I could return it I would, but I think it's too late.
