I ordered a Salifert Mg test kit to check my levels. As I suspected, my Mg was low. I added as instructed and noticed my corals were happier the next day. I've also noticed that my coralline algae are growing faster now. I have been taking supplements for a few days and since then my Mg levels have been normal and I think they are now easier to maintain with regular water changes as the levels are not too low. I suggest you just go and check. According to my research, magnesium levels should be about three times higher than calcium levels. Good product.
