Kent Marine Magnesium 16 Ounce Bottle Review

This brand did not suit me. I will not buy it again. I have had a reef aquarium for 3 years and have never been able to get magnesium properly using this product.

Easy to use to increase magnesium levels in reef aquariums. If you add magnesium; Also, be sure to check calcium and chlorine levels. All three depend on each other.

I use many Kent brand products and have no complaints about them. I know what others say, go with this brand of this brand. but this stuff works great and is half the price of "upscale" brand names. Reading advice on the forums is useful and sometimes bad. I think sometimes that makes us spend more money on brands than we need to.

I order these almost every week as there is a max of 3 per order and there is a limit between orders. (I don't know why, I have a 500 gallon system and I need as many as I can get) Great price. Excellent customer service. Had a problem with 1 bottle, got a replacement the next day. Without a doubt I recommend the product and the company.

works like magic when it comes to ridding your aquarium of moss. I took my mag from 1400 to 2100 in a week and after another week all my mosses were gone. I kept the store raised for another 2 months. Make sure you do this or your bryopsis will come back. Also remember to remove the charcoal and any other chemical filters you may have. GFO or Phosguard are fine.

I ordered a Salifert Mg test kit to check my levels. As I suspected, my Mg was low. I added as instructed and noticed my corals were happier the next day. I've also noticed that my coralline algae are growing faster now. I have been taking supplements for a few days and since then my Mg levels have been normal and I think they are now easier to maintain with regular water changes as the levels are not too low.
