I had an old socket with 2 USB ports. If you have traditional wall outlets, these will be slightly larger compared to the back of the outlet with USB ports, considering the circuitry required for the ports. When I replaced the old socket with the new one, they were exactly the same size and the installation was very easy. USB charging is very fast. I have a Galaxy C7, my brother has a Galaxy C10 and my daughter-in-law has an earlier iPhone and it charges the phone from 5% to 100 in about 35-50 minutes. I would definitely recommend this product as an upgrade over your traditional outlets as it saves space and takes away the hassle of searching for outlets to charge your phone or other device via USB. The USB port is ready for charging. Having this in all rooms is a definite plus and convenience.
