For the price this switch is a great bargain and gets the job done. I've been using it for about a week to switch between PC, Xbox Series X and cable box with a monitor. Picture and sound quality were perfect. Switching can be done by pressing a button on the device or by connecting a wired remote sensor. While many people don't see the point of a wired sensor, having the switch on the floor behind the entertainment center and the remote not working is awesome. Connect the cable to the front panel and the remote control always works reliably. UGreen even attached it with double-sided tape. I had to supply my own power supply for the micro USB port. The switch will not work without power. My only complaint and the reason I deducted a star is that the switch will automatically switch to the next active input if the current input is disabled. In my setup, the cable box is always active. Every time I turn off my Xbox or PC, the input switches to the TV signal. I have to use the remote to select one of the inactive sources so the monitor doesn't stay on. This is not a problem for people who use a regular TV that turns off every time. I like it when my monitor goes into sleep mode instead of having to hit the power button every time. Other than that, it's a great compact switch that will hopefully last a long time.
