You can trim this strap for a perfect fit.
Belt buckle easily detaches. Once it's off you can use a utility knife to cut off the end of the strap and then reattach the buckle. It only took 2 minutes and now the belt fits my skinny son perfectly. The belt is a single thick piece of cowhide with no seams; seems to take a long time. The only thing I would change is that the brown side is quite dark and not too different from the black side. Light brown would make more sense.
