The first thing you notice is the ticking of the device. I'm not sure why that is, but it's very quiet and I probably wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't put it to my ear. The device works as promised. The color is the same as the photo, it lights up when charging and the wings open/close automatically to open the phone. The only downside is that it is a very light plastic. This may not be an issue for some, but my phone is heavy and I doubt it can hold the phone if there are any bumps in the road. Also, the wings holding the phone are pretty thin and small. This is an issue for me as I have a thick case, may not be an issue for people with thin cases or no phone case.
