The socket assignment is very simple. There are four ranks or rows and each row has 3 cells or columns. Each row has two terminals and either a plug or screw hole. The leftmost connector in each row is for the left pole, the rightmost connector in each row is for the right pole. Except for the bottom row which has two connections for a coil and an LED. S 1 45 X 89 X 1213 14 SS = screw hole, X = space; this corresponds to the pin numbers on the front of the relay. I use it for load shedding. Two devices on the same circuit with a total worst case load that exceeds the circuit breaker rating. One of the loads is controlled by the 24VAC circuit, the other is not externally controlled. One of the phase wires for an uncontrolled load is fed through a current sensing relay that turns on when a serious load is pulled. I connected this relay to reverse this signal - the control signal from the controlled load is connected to the NC and common terminals, preventing the controlled load from turning on while the uncontrolled load is active. seems to work. Oh, and this relay (with socket) is too big to fit in a standard 4 inch deep square box, but it will fit under a raised lid.
