Worst purchase ever. I need to replace again
Includes plug-in sensor. Nobody can beat this price. But the evening was free, not worth replacing the changes, AGAIN! A week later the coolant temperature sensor was faulty. Yesterday I received a temperature difference code indicating the non-replaceable sensor is working. Once again I got what I paid for. I am completely divorced from these cheap parts. ZERO quality control.
- The thermostat is the valve that goes between the engine and the radiator. Its purpose is to keep the engine running in a suitable temperature range. If the engine overheats, the thermostat opens and forces the engine coolant through the radiator, where it is cooled. When the engine is too cold, the thermostat closes and stops the flow of coolant through the radiator, allowing the engine to warm up again.
