Review on πŸ’‘ Pack of 3 LED Motion Sensor Lights for Indoor and Outdoor Use by Cody Stroop

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I love them but I'm curious how they hold up.

They were only there a week but we had a lot of rain and so far so good. The motion sensor works great and I was able to position it close to the front pavement so it wouldn't trigger unless someone was very close to my hard-to-see step. Much better than solar lighting which only works after a full day of sunshine - useless in normal climates and utterly useless this summer! One suggestion: A three-position switch allows you to turn it off, turn it on for motion detection only, or for dusk-to-dawn motion detection. The Dusk to Dawn feature disables the motion sensor except at night, which is great for saving battery. After a week of use, I would be happy with the function from dusk to dawn only. Most of the time, soft light is enough for my home. Update: One of these, which rained more directly than the other, had about half an inch of water in the lower chamber. But it still worked. I opened the battery compartment and there may have been some water in there. It was hard to tell because it was so humid outside (should have used a towel first! :) Electrical things work when wet (some of them) but moisture eats up batteries over time so is my love now conditionally - depending on how long they stay out. I assume, that they will be alright inside. I assume they will be fine inside.
