The cover is advertised as tough but it is not. It's pretty tough, but won't protect your hard drive from being destroyed. The inside of the case is very soft and has an elastic strap to keep the hard drive securely in place. There is an elastic mesh to hold the USB cable. Also included is a carrying strap.
