So I measured my calf. I am a tall woman but a short woman. I ordered a 4XL Extra Wide compression sock. I couldn't put it on my leg. I really feel like they are not properly measured. I've tried other brands and found nothing. Both the toe and the ankle were swollen, along with the calf. I can't get the top bar to shrink back to normal too often. I guess if I could they might fit. But they are heavy/strong. And I think maybe too much compression. Now I'm dealing with compression bandages. With compression bandages, it doesn't matter if they are short/tall or thick/thin, they can be lighter or firmer. If that doesn't work, I'll talk to my doctor about leg compression machines. My advice is to skip them and try compression wraps.
