We ordered these at the last minute for a trip to Big Bend so weren't sure they would serve us well. I was positively surprised. I bought them with my son in mind. I wanted something that would be comfortable for him and it was perfect. They were easy to set up and even fit me even though I'm not tall. They carry enough water for several hours of desert trekking, are comfortable and lightweight, and don't chafe or chafe. They didn't limit our ascent in any way. I haven't noticed any bad water taste in my bladder or hose. They were just what we needed for 4 days of desert and mountain hiking and I can't wait to use them again.
