I bought a super model 2070 300 Hz for 2600 (incl. VAT). It's not cheap, but it's not overpriced either given the 2020 release date and specs. I feel like I paid a fair price for a new high-end gaming laptop and I'm not disappointed with its performance. However, a 300Hz monitor will probably never come in handy; Unless you lower your graphics settings. You won't be able to get 300 fps with high graphics in most modern games, even in games like League of Legend you'll only get 180240 fps depending on saturation. Aesthetically this is a great looking laptop and the 17 inch monitor is great for gaming and viewing content. It's safe to say the battery life is terrible, but that's the standard for thin gaming laptops. The webcam isn't included, which isn't a big deal if you have a separate work laptop for meetings. Overall, if you buy it now, you get what you pay for: premium for a top-tier Asus gaming laptop + competent specs to run many games with good enough frames. If you wait 6 months to a year, you can most likely get this device for less than $2,000.
