While I do wish the the little steering wheel connected somehow to the front wheels to direct where there little tractor goes that's not a product defect, just simply something I didn't consider when I purchased the item.For the price, this is perfect for my son who will be one in about 2 weeks (this was his Christmas present). It's very small, but that's great because his feet can reach the ground when sitting on it.HE LOVES IT by the way!Very easy to assemble, I'm 8 months pregnant and was able to mostly assemble it myself and had it not been for my pregnancy induced carpal tunnel issue I think I probably could have finished assembling it by myself.
