Good strong clamp. Stainless steel clamp only. The stainless steel they use hasn't been polished at all - it's quite matte. If you want something shiny, you need to get out your metal polishing tools and polish it yourself. Nut, bolt and washers are bright zinc plated. Of course, you don't need a stainless steel nut and bolt as stainless steel fasteners aren't strong enough to withstand the torque I apply to an exhaust yoke. The center brace is made of metal. As far as I can tell, 2.25 inches is accurate. 5 stars because I really have no criticism. That's exactly what I need. Serviced a year later - found the clamp had loosened after 8000 miles of use. The pot's metal center pad broke in half. Once you understand these clamps and how they work, this gasket is extremely important to getting a good, strong clamp on your pipe. A product is only as good as its weakest ingredient. Lowering my rating to 2 stars.
