This product saved me almost $250 on cleaning my dryer vents. I have a laundry room on the second floor and my air duct runs through the roof of a traditional two story house. It was long enough to reach the cap. I cleaned inside/outside. You also need to clean the outside/inside, but that wasn't necessary for me. Flexible expandable pieces made it easy to strip them down a little at a time and then add another length or two. I would NOT use this with a drill on a flex dryer vent as the brush is strong enough to rip open a flex vent. After using a drill, it is difficult to unscrew the extensions, but this is true of any product. The brush is a nice addition, but actually too short to be very effective.
