Due to the lack of assembly instructions, I drilled a hole that was too large for the dowels and had to switch to dowels purchased for another project. Also, the protrusion on the end of the bracket made it a bit more difficult to get the drill in the right place to mount everything to the wall. Not exactly deal breaker, but these qualities finally validate the adage "measure seven times, drill once". The brackets themselves are strong and make hanging and removing our projection screen easier than just a screw in the wall. Plus, the ability to adjust the screen on each side means you get an image that's sharp across the entire screen, even if your projector isn't 100% vertical.
