I've been using it for a few months now and I love it! I am an avid tea drinker and buy good loose leaf tea. If you value tea and spend your hard-earned cash on it, you want to be able to brew it at the right temperature and time to taste its best! I think this kettle is great for heating water to the right temperature for whatever type of tea you drink. I also like the feature of keeping water at that temperature for up to an hour. I only have a few complaints about them-1. If you just want a cup of tea for yourself, you have to infuse at least two cups of water, which is a bit annoying if you want another cup of tea or just one cup after the first cup. tea.2. If you're using a tea filter to brew tea directly in the kettle, remove the filter along with the tea so it's brewing at the right temperature and for the right time now, and expect it to keep perfectly brewed tea at that temperature for an hour - it will do the trick, but will brew the tea when the temperature drops to bring it back up to the set temperature. This reduces and concentrates the amount of tea, resulting in a darker and more bitter tea. Not the perfect tea you brewed first. For these reasons, I only use the kettle to heat the water to the ideal temperature, which is wonderful and quick, and pour it over my measured loose tea and brew outside of the kettle until it's just right. Time. Not sure if just using it for this function is worth the price but I love my kettle as it has worked great for the past few months, looks sleek and beautiful on my countertop and does what I want it to do do at all. Looking for. If limescale builds up on the floor, I just add some white vinegar for a few minutes and rinse! phew! They are no longer there, but it is like new :)
