I have receding gums due to excessive whitening in my 20's and have had braces twice in over five years! The metal braces caused more receding gums than the Invisalign treatment I had. This product is gentle but effective in cleaning teeth and freshening mouth. None of the Sensodyne toothpastes contain abrasive particles. The mint flavor is my favorite. A medium tube is enough for me to clean twice a day for a month. To be honest, I only notice a difference with Sensodyne "Whitening" if you use it regularly and consistently. I have some sensitivity issues with regular toothpastes but not with Sensodyne.
