About 10 years ago I only use Pioneer brand writing instruments, and now I use an older BDR-206. With the BDR-206 I used Verbatim BD-R DL 6x, but while 4x can burn successfully every time (Windows 10's built-in burner), it still takes a long time to grind halfway when switching from level 0 to level 1 becomes. Nero would have easily given up there. Capturing Verbatim with the built-in program with a 6x rating was a shockingly low 30% success rate. If the burning was successful, the read data was confirmed. Optical Quantum 6x, the result so far has been amazingly perfect. The built-in write speed of Windows 10 is 8x by default, and the realistic recording time is no different from a manual setting of 6x. No matter 8x or 6x, there is no loud grinding noise or long pauses at shift changes to test my nerves. Surprisingly, this Optical Quantum is 6x better than Verbatim 6x at a lower price! Burn with confidence!
