Great fork for a 6 year old!

I bought this for my 6 year old daughter who has fine motor skills issues. When I bought this I didn't realize I had to bend the metal and not the internal mechanism that moved it. I was hoping to be able to easily move it back and forth while eating as my daughter switches hands quite often. This forced her to use only one hand, which could be good or bad. However, once I figured that out, it was a really good fork. I have a slightly different pediatric spoon from the same company and I like the design of this spoon better. My daughter, who doesn't have much experience with crockery, was immediately drawn to it. Another thing I'm thankful for is that it's red and not black like their other spoon. Since they are meant for kids, maybe they could make kids colors like blue, green, pink or purple. If so, I'd probably buy a few more.
