This insert is only used to adjust the noise of the exhaust, as the exhaust gases pass "orderly". It won't lower the tone. I actually installed two of these to further customize my exhaust sound. I made a custom order for Set 2. I also added some steel wool to lower the sound. Overall a great entry. Will use again.
