Before purchasing this pillow I read reviews about this type of pillow from several sellers. People said the pillows weren't high enough and had a lingering smell. Haven't flown with this pillow yet, but it's larger than I expected (good size and I'm 5ft 8) and only has a slight odor (like any new product). I blew it up and will let it air out for a few days although I don't feel the need to. It's comfortable, but I could see my face was starting to feel uncomfortable after a few hours, so I'm looking forward to using the free airline pillow above as an extra pillow. .The mouthpiece to inflate is a bit odd, but it was easy to get used to (you just have to be careful to create a seal with your lips.) It took less than 10 breaths to blow it the first time, and I now expect to be able to if you have experience inflating it takes fewer breaths. I was impressed with the quality of the eye mask provided - it's soft and fits well, with velcro for size adjustment.
