This (and I suspect all small cheap movements) is extremely difficult to work with. That would probably be fine, but the hour, minute, and seconds hands are so faint that it's almost impossible to set them properly without distorting them more than a little. so hard on the actual mechanism that you can't just press them in place causing them to bend. Then when you finally get them together as best you can and hang them up, the "arms" are dangling and it's difficult to get them (with the wheel on the back) where they need to be. They then come back 45 minutes later to check it out, only to find that one arm has sagged a bit and is tucked under the other (or just tucked next to the other). If my project was something special, I would look for a better kit.
