You are perfect! I've had them for over a week and have been using them almost every day. They penetrate directly into tiny or narrow places and immediately cut stems. They are great for trimming or trimming flowers including roses, petunias, pansies, pink carnations, periwinkles, coreopsis, you name it! My mint, oregano, and rosemary herbs tried to flower, and I immediately cut off the tops of them—they burst faster than ever. They really make pruning flowers and plants fun because it's so easy! Also, they are small and light so they don't hurt or tire my hands when using them, and I can easily open and close the lock with one hand, so I can quickly cut, cut, cut! I think I might buy a second pair because they are so comfortable. Only thing I wish they had a lid because they easily fit in my pocket but this end is super sharp I'm surprised I haven't poked and scratched myself with it lol. However, this is my only "fault" and certainly not big enough to detract from the rating star or my enthusiasm for these great little clippers! If you have plants or flowers, buy them, you'll wonder how you ever managed without them! 👍👍**One month update**I still LOVE these clippers! They were used to prune my flowers almost every day and my flowers expressed their delight at it! I really don't know how I got along without them before and I find it very relaxing to use them every night to kill my head and clean my plants.
