Works. How. I received several DTCs before installing, these codes have been fixed. So three stars for that. Loses two stars because it causes erratic idling when cold. Idling fluctuates between 700-1100 rpm. After the car warms up and starts, everything works. I tested with another VANOS solenoid valve, OEM works fine regardless of engine temperature. 2011 MCS, R56 with N18 engine.
- Replacing Mini Cooper Vanos restores fuel efficiency and returns the variable valve timing system to normal operation
