Has a strange smell but by no means strong. Only if you put your hand to your nose to sniff. It's really thick and healing but not greasy at all. I wear it on my hands after washing my hands all day. It really heals and soothes dryness. Tip: I work in a doctor's office and we offer this to herpes patients. Applying it to ulcers can help make it more comfortable and speed up recovery a bit.
