Review on 👟 Salomon Women's Speedcross Running Shoes in Phantom - Ideal for Athletic Women by Steven Barbon

I have been wearing Speed Cross Solomons for about 8 years now and they have never let me down! I've had 4's (not Gortex) but have now worn them out and bought the Speed Cross 5 a regular size 9. They fit perfectly! I live in Tucson and am an avid runner. I rode a 10km technical course with all types of terrain to really test it! I was very confident that they would do what was expected and they really did! I tried them again today and they are great! I feel like they have a little more toe room which is nice. I have slightly narrow, medium arch feet, but there were no blisters or chafing! Sometimes the reason for this lies in socks rather than shoes, or in shoes that don't fit snugly enough. A little tweaking can help! I also wear padded neoprene ankle pads (win-win; keeps mud/sand out like an alligator, supports and protects your ankles) so the shoe works great with or without ankle pads! super grippy! I had no problems with slipping! The 5 also has mesh on top to keep sand/dirt out and the toes feel better protected by the boot protector :) All in all I really have no complaints. For me: 10/10!
