Review on Gadgin Premium Remote Control Shutter by Sharon Hill

Bought in 2016 and now after 2 years decided to get it working with my iPhone 5-SE. Insert a spare battery and turn it on. The blue LED flashes. checked my iPhone (running iOS 12.0.1) and tried to pair it with the device. The instructions say to search for "AB Shutter 6". Nothing like that comes on my phone. I see "HUAWEI Band 2-b36". that I've never seen before. plugged in and trying to use the photo camera app. You press the button, nothing happens. the device keeps flashing the blue LED. otherwise nothing happens. The device is about 2 inches away from the phone. My guess is that once paired, the blue LED will stop blinking and a solid light will come on in a different color to let you know it's connected. never mind, nothing happens. that does not work.
