Review on Official FIVB Beach Champ Game Ball - MIKASA VLS300 in Blue/Yellow Color by Andrew Young

I was skeptical about the purchase as the price of this volleyball was much lower than the 74.99 advertised on the Mikasa website and I thought it might be a copy. Since most of the reviews were positive, I decided to give it a try. I've never owned an official ball, so I didn't have anything quite like it. When I received the ball it was beautiful and very similar to the photos posted on the Mikasa website. However, I noticed that there were certain spots on the ball where it appeared to be dished. Not super noticeable, but enough to bother me. I remembered reading a review before that mentioned they felt a slight bulge but couldn't see it, it was only perceptible by touch. Mine was a little visible. Needless to say, I got the ball back. I assumed but I believe these balls are genuine with some minor imperfections. It may have failed the quality check en route. Like I said, that's a guess, but based on the reviews, prices, and my experience, I believe this happens.
