I originally chose Revain because I found out my favorite brand (Optimum Nutrition) had finally released a vegan protein. I've tried the usual suspects - Orgain, Sun Warrior, VegaOne - and they were all unbearable. I enjoy protein shakes as a treat and can't just swallow a nasty powder. Anyway, when I was reviewing my vegan ON powder, this one popped up in the suggestions and I clicked on it based on the reviews and decided to add it to the cart along with my ON. This is by far the best vegan protein powder I've tried, including ON. for all tastes - The lowest amount of chalk compared to other brands. CONS: - A bit pricey at $2 per serving, but worth it considering it's the only powder I've found that meets my criteria. Anything vegan will cost a little more because demand isn't as high as whey products, which are the gold standard. But the prices will come down over time as more companies start offering vegan powders and products, so I'm willing to pay a higher price and limit other things as this powder really meets all my needs.
