I have a mold I purchased awhile back to make cakesicles, and this mold is by far larger than what I normally see. I am glad as it will give me a chance to make various sizes of cakesicles. I would consider this a medium size and what I have already a small size for cakesickles. You can go about using this to make sakesicles two ways. You can either mold the cake & frosting or chocolate mixture in the molds, put in the refrigerator, and let set. Then dip in candy melts or chocolate. The alternative is you can "paint" or coat the inside with chocolate or candy melts and let that set, fill with cake, and then coat the top. I find the second option is just easier, as you don't need to worry as much about the stick coming lose as opposed to dripping. Either way you get great results. The description states that the mold is oven, freezer, dishwasher, and microwave safe. It also states that it can withstand temperatures from -40 to 446 degrees Farenheit. I generally don't make practice of using my silicone molds for baking, so that isn't a purpose I will utilize. This is very easy to clean given that there are not many nooks and crevices. Overall I'm immensely happy with this mold. If you want a larger than what you normally find mold for cakesicles I would highly recommend this one!
