I use them to practice with one of my airbrushes

I've just received one of the smaller handheld airbrushes and wanted to try it out with something simple and easy to clean first. These stencils are great for my practice work - I can start with an image and then try to work in the shaded areas and add a small amount of other colors to give the flower, bird and/or leaf some depth and a little more to impart realism. One day I'll try to do it freehand, but for now, starting with stencils, I'll learn how to use it and how to shadow/highlight realistically. I love airbrushing and have been collecting some stencils lately. This is a beautiful set of flowers that will come in handy.
