Easy to install. I'm the do-it-yourself guy, although I've always relied on a man for plumbing replacements. I thought it would be difficult and I would need a lot of strength. It literally took me 10 minutes to install. According to him I applied too much tape {tape was on}, although I have no leaks. I'm not very strong, I hand tightened every piece. I also changed the shower. My hair is naturally curly and unruly, breaks easily and has been thinning lately, I always have to add some product to tame it. After the first shower with a filter, I dried my hair and didn't need any product. I tell everyone I know about this filter. I've never written a review before, I just can't get enough of it. According to him, I put too much tape on it.
