Doesn't hold the chisel straight
The old adage "You get what you pay for" applies to this product. It holds my hand plane blades very well, but not a standard woodworking chisel. This is actually very bad because a simple design change can make this product really good. The sides that press against the bit just aren't high enough to hold the bit. I've since switched to Lee Valley's Veritas MKII sharpening guide.
