Imperfect design works best for slicing cheese
I used to have this type of cheese cutter and was happy with it. This has a major design flaw. The way the wire handle is attached to the base allows for a lot of lateral movement. This brings with it two problems. First, it's difficult to get a straight cut. But more importantly, it's impossible to stretch the wire. It can be used, but hardly.
