I bought a light strip for my parents for Christmas, they hooked it up to the living room TV and it still works like clockwork. I decided to buy the same one (exactly the same option) and it worked like a watch too. For a day. Now all I have left is the white light setting. The remote doesn't even turn off the light. This included buying two more light bars of different brands from my store next door; one had a broken remote control from the box, the other had terrible adhesive on the strips that couldn't be bent even at the corners without breaking the strips. So I booked this again expecting an excellent experience. And on that first day, that was it. The adhesive is firm and there are stretcher bars to fold (this can be difficult to manage depending on the size of your TV and the shape of the back). The brightness is decent, but a bit weak. But for this product to just turn on and stop working as intended after a day? Absolutely disappointing. And after my difficulties mentioned above, it was so annoying that I felt like a straw breaking the camel's back. Not sure if it's a remote control (I've tried different batteries to no avail) or a receiver that plugs into the strips and isn't compatible with other receivers. I tried to contact the seller (Bason) but still haven't received an email. despite the attached paper that says "Don't like it? We will reply within 24 hours". I also checked their website and apart from the homepage it doesn't work (404 pages not found). Needless to say this is incredibly sketchy and makes it virtually impossible for me to find this brand/ Suggest company.I will be testing a stock unit to see if I have better luck but overall I would stay away from this product and Bason in general.
