I've never tried this before, but I'm installing a non-original stereo in my Jag and nobody makes dash bezels to update non-original equipment in an existing dash. As always when you want something done right. So I make it myself, I made a master bezel out of wood, took the time to perfect it and used this product to make a mold from which I pour the resin piece. This worked well, although it takes some effort to get a good bubble-free cast. The biggest problem I had was the release agent I prepared to release the master from the new mold. I would probably benefit from using a commercial product as the mix I made was still a little thick and left its mark on the final form - live and learn I guess - nothing a bunch of sanding wouldn't fix.
