I'm using two of these bookshelves to hold board games. I'm thinking about getting a third just to get the four middle shelves to connect the two bookshelves, since you don't have to assemble the full bookshelf and can use them as two smaller independent bookshelves.The first bookshelf I ordered had no issues. The second one had a slightly bent metal crossbar and one of the plastic caps the feet screw into was broken. I was able to install the crossbar despite the bend and super glue took care of the plastic cap. I contacted customer support for a replacement cap just in case it becomes a bigger issue and needs to be replaced. Haven't heard back from them, but it's only been a few hours since I sent them the message.I really like the offset middle shelves. I store my board games on their sides and a few of my board games are too tall to fit between shelves, and the lower profile of the middle shelves allow them to not stand out so much.A few of my games stick out since they're too long for the shelves, but it's only a few of them.They're very easy to assemble. There are only two sizes of screws. The small screws are for connecting the frames together and attaching the crossbars to the frames. The large screws are for attaching the shelves to the frames and for connecting the crossbars together along with four nuts. It might take you awhile, but it's more of a quantity issue than a complexity issue.Edit: customer service resolved my issue very quickly. I would purchase from this company again.
