Medium works well for a 5'7" guy weighing 175 pounds. Small would be too narrow/short but doable. A large would be too big and sloppy. Waste area, sleeves, wrist and neck have buttons or velcro for proper comfort and fit.Good quality, durable and feels like a fairly heavy canvas.The padded armors on the shoulders, back and elbows have good coverage and feel like good protection but are yet comfortable.It was warm and wind resistant when riding in 35-40 F at 30 mph.Gets a bit hot in summer despite insulation removed (insulation attaches/detaches easily.)It has exposed zippered vents which help a bit should. The reflective lines are gray and adequate but could be bigger and maybe lighter. Overall the jacket looks good, feels good and offers good protection. I wish would give it a solid five. This is a really good $50 product with free shipping.
