Fast and handy food slicer, to my surprise a pretty good product. Does what it's supposed to, the blade is very sharp. The threaded washer isn't very useful. Instead, I use protective gloves when cutting. Easy to clean. I use it every day and it has held up very well for the month I've been using it. I was skeptical about all the plastics used, but so far my only gripe is that the soundboard has a bit of play on the blade. Gives me slightly thicker or thinner slices if I don't press them properly. I can live with it. the difference is hardly noticeable.
