This thickness gauge is a great tool and very easy to use. I test on several different rides with different paint conditions. It was interesting to test out some of the rust spots on the video of my old rat rod. The device is fast, easy to use and comes with a nice case. I use it to know what kind of color I have, but I will definitely use it regularly after detailing or heavy buffing. I highly recommend it.
