I don't know what others use rope for, but I bought it for my kittens. I cut the rope into short lengths and tie a knot at each end. Put them on the floor and the kittens will love it. They were crazy about ropes. Bite, scratch, pull. I think the kittens might think the ropes are snakes or eels. So much fun!
