Beautiful watercolor set! Considering how expensive other paint kits are (in jars) I decided to buy this kit and make my own. I was very surprised at how well they worked, especially considering how cheap they are! With this set you can make any color you want! I've included a picture to show some of the basic colors you can make. They're really handy as you just put a few drops on the surface (I like to use a plastic paint palette (photo) and then you can mix the colors or add water. The colors themselves are VERY bright (which is good) - If So if you want lighter colors, you have them, if not, keep adding water until you get the shade you want). The dropper bottles I bought were also a must have. That way I know exactly what it takes to get each color. (1 drop of it, 2 drops of water, etc.) PS: Watercolor paints dry out. This way you can make the colors deeper/lighter. Apply watercolor paint to the surface/palette and add 5-6 drops of water. let them dry Once you have the dried color add 1-2 drops of water just to revitalize it and then you have a much deeper/lighter color than before (because it's less diluted).
