Review on Graco® TraxTM Jogger Travel System by Andrea Allen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Light and manoeuvrable

The stroller we had before was a four wheeler, good but not very versatile. It's also kind of hard. This Graco Trax Jogger is lighter and much more comfortable when walking with our baby. Our area has a lot of bumps in the sidewalk and a few curbs that aren't primed when crossing the street. This stroller coped very well with all the rough terrain. It has big rubber tires and you can even lock the front wheel when driving at high speed to keep it from spinning. Assembly was easy and didn't take long. The instructions were good but there was a part missing on how to attach the canopy to the back of the stroller. We figured it out, but it struck us as odd that this part wasn't described in the owner's manual. Some strollers have a single braking mechanism that locks both real wheels. It has a brake for each wheel. I also like how easy it is to expand and collapse. Still a bit awkward when in the trunk, but at least it's easy to grab and quick to set up. Another nice feature is the adjustable steering wheel. There are a couple of settings that I think are great as other strollers often only have a high and low handlebar setting. I've addressed many of the positive points above, but I also wanted to address some of the things that could be improved about this stroller. First, the parent compartment is small, not even wide enough to hold a basic iPhone. Walking around with it, I wish I had my phone somewhere safer than the cup holder. It's okay, but I noticed something. Second, there is a sash at the end of the canopy for a window to view your baby. The function is great, but there is no way to keep this valve upright. A little wind or a few bumps will blow it back. A simple magnet would solve this problem and I'm not sure why the manufacturer didn't include something similar. Finally, at the end of the hood there is a small visor to protect your child's eyes from the sun. While it's great, I'd love to see it continue. Depending on the angle, sunlight can sometimes penetrate the stroller, which counteracts the purpose of the small canopy. It would be great if they made it a little longer or the whole hood could be lengthened with one more click. Overall we are very happy with this jogging buggy and a great buy for the price. Large rubber wheels are a great advantage to move on any surface. With the added suspension, this item rolls effortlessly over bumps and keeps your child comfortable throughout the ride. Premium quality, elegant style and smooth maneuverability. Highly recommended.
