Review on Game console Nintendo Switch 32 GB, gray by Jnis Pimberis ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am one hundred percent satisfied with the purchase, I recommend this product to everyone.

High-quality and comfortable toy with its own unique niche. To play without getting out of bed or to take it with you somewhere on a trip / vacation / business trip - it's generally gorgeous. If the price tags on the console itself and games do not scare away - take it, you will not regret it. I recommend purchasing a memory card as soon as possible (at least 32 gigabytes, large games are not much "easier" there than on a PC), a protective film and a case. When charging the console, do not remove the joysticks from it - they also need to be charged. When during the game you do not need the Internet, and the joycons are inserted into the console - switch the console to the "airplane" mode - this reduces battery consumption. Battery consumption is also slightly reduced by using a dark theme. I also note that it is better to take the second revision of the set-top box - it has optimized power consumption, less propensity for controller backlash and there is no strong overheating in stationary mode. Revisions are fairly easy to distinguish. The ated revision has changed the image on the packaging. Now instead of a white background - red, the set of joycons has changed places with the docking station, and the hand has disappeared from the picture. Also check the revision number. It is located on the back of the console. The new revision will be designated HAC-001-01, the old revision HAC-001. Now I'll go through the optional, but convenient additions. If you are concerned about the "non-solidity" of controllers, look at aliexpress for the iPega 9163 controller. If you want to play in a stationary setting and have a PS4 or Xbox One gamepad, look for the Mayflash Magic-NS adapter there. If you want to maximize the speed of the Internet in a hospital, find a USB-Ethernet adapter there (for example, Ugreen USB Ethernet Adapter). Well, some kind of USB-> USB-C adapter in the household also does not hurt. And a 10000 mAh power bank or more if you plan to take it with you on long trips.

Pros
  • The ability to play both in portable mode and in stationary mode. Image output in a hospital in 1080p. Control of both joycons and individual gamepads (even gamepads from PS4 and Xbox One will work with a suitable USB adapter), as well as, if desired and supported by the game, from a touchscreen. High quality and bright screen. A good library of games, including in terms of exclusive projects. High autonomy (for the second revision - from 4.5 to 9 hours, depending on the "heaviness" of the running application). Ease of use. Fairly fast charging. Some games (especially the old ones, from the NES and SNES collections) can be played together without buying additional gamepads (using one joystick each).
Cons
  • High prices for games, especially Nintendo exclusives and AAA ports with PC (moreover, the quality of ports sometimes leaves much to be desired), however, periodically there are discounts and other promotions. At the moment, the game store, like Steam, has managed to overwhelm indies of varying degrees of badness, stuck together on the knee, up to ports from mobile devices, through which you have to make your way long and hard in the search for something to play. It should also be noted that in the Nintendo digital store, purchased games cannot be refunded, unlike game stores on PC and other consoles. Bought the game and didn't like it? Your problems. If in doubt - take the physical version of the game, there is no such problem with them, and you can resell when you get bored. Accessories aren't cheap either. Portability is somewhat relative - the prefix is rather bulky, you can't put it in your pocket. The set-top box and joycons must be handled carefully: the screen is easily scratched (especially with frequent use of the docking station, I immediately advise you to buy a protective film), and when you frequently insert / pull out of the console into the holder and back, the joycons may begin to play. You cannot connect the set-top box to a PC for direct access to a memory card, you need to pull out the card and use an external reader. The inability to connect wireless headphones without a Bluetooth adapter. Of the useful non-gaming applications, there is only YouTube, even a simple browser has not been delivered. Huge frames around the screen (it was possible to make the screen a little larger instead). Online and cloud saves - for a paid subscription.
