I purchased this Zoom after using a Roland field recorder for several years. I'm an AVID AUDIO person and this is no casual user, I've been capturing and editing audio with Field Recorders for 10 years now! The device is beautiful and easy to use BUT BE CAREFUL! if the power goes out during recording then you're screwed, the files are lost, impossible to recover them which is insane, also the device crashed twice during recording and again, the files were lost, hours of data and audio is lost with no possibility of recovering files through the device or otherwise. As such, Zoom customer service and troubleshooting has a totally incompetent level of knowledge or support and confirms that there is no way to recover data when the device is disconnected or frozen. DO NOT BUY THIS!
