I have never used a clothes steamer but I have to say I was impressed. It heats up and is ready to use in 60 seconds. It is lightweight and very easy to use. Tried on on knitwear, 100% cotton and denim. Brilliant. The jeans I used were hidden for years to be used for cut offs. Let's start by saying I had doubts about denim. But I just ran the steamer over the surface of the material, and the creases began to smooth out. Of course, you risk wet spots on the material. I just did this to test it myself. There were only two downsides for me; Water leaks out when the steamer is tilted (IDK, but can all steamers do that?). Another terrible smell it had the first few times I used it.
